Maggio Aurelio is an Italian professor and Director of the Department of Hematology and rare diseases of the P. O at the Ospedali Riuniti Hospital. He has been awarded a Degree in Medicine and Surgery in the year 1977 and qualified to practice as a surgeon. In the year 1980, he did his post-graduate specialization in medical genetics, Pathophysiology of hematologic Clinical pathology, Hematological Oncology, laboratory of Hematology and Coagulation. He published a great many research articles in several renowned publications. In the year 2018, he received a Certificate of Lecture in "The Belt and Road conference on Thalassemia" at the Guangxi Medical University, Nanning, China. Among his many achievements his recent one includes Certification of participation as Speaker/Moderator at the congress "Haematological rare diseases from genetic counseling-through bench-to bed".
