This is the best way of describing the creative process that the author engaged when putting pen to paper. The subtitle of the book "Thoughts Pretending to be Poems" is accurate as not everything in the book is a poem in any accepted interpretation of the art form but the book as a whole is poetic in the purest sense of the word.
