In a moment of uncertainty and discontent, the Camino de Santiago proved to be a key that could open the doors that were locked inside of me. It would be a reconnection trip. A moment to be absent from people and get deeply into my heart. Get to know my qualities, understand what my weaknesses were, reread my past and resize my crosses. Knowing how to live with all these issues and being sure that it would be a sacred way of reflections and a healing on those wounds that only I could see, and used to hide so well. I took my backpack and left, without a cell phone, without GPS, with nothing to guide me except for the universe and my survival instinct. It was my biggest journey. I plunged into my own depths, found answers, and new questions arose. I cried, smiled, prayed and thanked. This book is a record to assimilate all the things I have learned and to serve as a compass for those who wish to follow the path that takes deep within ourselves. Baggage of the Heart has a very well defined goal: to make you think about your own life and, who knows, maybe encourage you to change it. If at the end of the book, you feel the desire to evolve and be happy, my purpose will have been fulfilled.
