Kerry Fields finds herself running from her past that haunts her every wakeful hour. Never revealing to anyone the improbable event that occurred the last summer she was home in Texas; she holds close her unshakeable memory of the hurt she experienced. Even after she escapes her past, the guilt overwhelms her and her dreams become nightmares. Kerry feels she must keep her past from the life she's created for herself, and over the years Kerry has worked tremendously hard for so long to protect her past from evading her present. Nevertheless, living with hurtful regrets, Kerry ultimately blocks her own road to living a full life of love, happiness, and freedom. And then, by chance, Kerry's world is completely changed, when a friend re-appears in her life and needs her. This reconnection is the new beginning Kerry needs to face the demons of her past, and allow the tears to finally dry up.
