The aim of the religion of all religions is to bring all religions together through a deeper understanding of what they are and how they contribute to life and humanity. It offers a common framework of thought that can moderate their excesses and reduce the extremism to which they are prone. It promotes the study and appreciation of all religions without favouring any particular religion. Vivodoxia brings religions together by studying them and showing what they have in common. It is not to be imposed on people as a religion distinct from any other. Religions on their own are isolated and exclusive organisations which behave as if they have all the answers that must be accepted without question by anyone belonging to that religion. Jonathan Swift wrote "We have just enough religion to make us hate, but not enough to make us love one another." A religion that incorporates all religions may constitute enough religion to make us all love one another. Within the aegis of Vivodoxia every religion can take its place without sacrificing any of its belief content.
