You Can Be a Virus-Fighting Superhero At School Marianela Wood

I have been a preschool teacher for sixteen years and this year will be the most challenging of all. Our youngest preschool and kindergarten learners don't understand what is happening in the world. They need an explanation in the simplest way. What is social distancing? Why do I have to wear a mask? Why can't I go to school? I struggled to find a book that would address this so I decided to create my own. Bold images and short sentences convey the message in a fun way. Children love pretending to be superheroes and now they can also be one in the classroom.

This book will help children understand that they too are important in controlling this pandemic. Put their minds at ease that school won't always be like this.
