If you were a Star Child (and you might be!) what would you do if your airplane crashed in the middle of a jungle in Ecuador? Marcy and Mike find themselves in exactly this situation. They meet Quilla, a descendent of an ancient Aztec tribe. The two friends find out things they shouldn't know and have secrets to keep themselves. Marcy's parents are badly injured. The only adult unhurt should be able to help-but will she? Everything depends upon the friendship of Marcy and Mike with Quilla, an Aztec girl selected for sacrifice to the gods.
