A collection of short stories featuring African characters and situations. In the opening story, a group of gay teens find themselves on the run after a valentine's day outing goes horribly wrong. The young man in A Father's Secret struggles to come to terms with his father's sexuality, a secret he has kept for fifteen years. Chat History follows a fictional chat history between two teens from feuding families, who despite the odds, start falling for one another. In The Pastor's Daughter, the heroine juggles a blossoming relationship while hiding her queerness from her fanatical father. It's a roller-coaster of emotions: love, fear and most importantly, hope.
