Jazzo's Journeys David A Jarvis
Jazzo's Journeys
David A Jarvis
This book is a collection of hundreds of mainly humorous anecdotes baaed on personal experiences undergone during extensive travels by land, sea and air on numerous journeys around the globe over more than the last sixty years. The book relates stories from travels starting about ten years before Voyager 1 blasted off from Cape Canaveral for its journey into outer space in 1977. It must be admitted that since the outset, all those years ago the author has still not travelled quite so far as the spacecraft has. Arguably however perhaps the author has visited many destinations which are of more general interest to the average terrestrial reader. Voyager still keeps in touch unlike some old acquaintances in far flung places but who can tell for how long. The book is written by David Jarvis, who was born in Central Scotland in 1940, in the most auspicious year of the Dragon. David is an Author, Businessman, Engineer, Raconteur and Grumpy Old Git although not necessarily in that specific order. David has written many contributions for various international magazines and made numerous personal presentations in America, Africa, Asia and Europe including the UK. There are more than two hundred and fifty anecdotes of mainly humorous occurrences undergone in various exotic and some other not so exotic destinations in more than a hundred countries around the globe over the last sixty years. Sit back and enjoy reading now about some of his triumphs and tribulations during Jazzo's Journeys around the globe.
