Rainy Days started out as a Girl Scout Gold Award project, but the goal is for it to evolve into much more than just a simple project. It took me two years to complete this book. Although time-consuming, the time and effort I've invested into it is well spent. I wanted my Gold Award project to address an issue that is personal and real. Depression in youth is often viewed as a taboo topic, and nothing but an over exaggeration. I am hoping to change that narrative. This book and my website (https: //www.teenkokua.org) provide insights about depression and some resources for help. I hope that as people read this book, we are able to build a community of supporters with the same desire to prioritize mental illness in adolescence. Thank you for supporting
