This is the second in a new series of books designed to be read with children. It uses the Alphabet in adventures to encourage the child to read and learn how to pronounce phonics and digraphs. Each book reveals powers that the vowels find they have when they work as a pair and get out of trouble with the wizard or witch, as the battle between the two carries on through the series. In the second of this series 2 friends decide to go it alone and get caught by the witch who makes them cause mischief for her to keep the wizard busy. When one of the fathers tries to help, he almost gets in trouble himself!
