The Nightmare is a journey through the darkest depths of self. An event that sparked years of suicidal idealizations and nightmares into the present time. This is a story surrounded by loss. Loss of self mainly and the effects it had on my life. This is a book of poetry and prose that spans ten years time. Every event no matter how fictitious it seems; happened. Every dream, every epiphany, and every time I looked at the specter of darkness looming over my shoulder. It was real. The Nightmare was there and twice it almost consumed me.
