(Galatians 5:1: "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.") Deliverance is being set free from all spiritual bondages, limitations and barriers holding us back from our destiny, salvation and victory that Jesus won on the cross for us at Calvary. Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross of Calvary for our deliverance and salvation. Deliverance is therefore, the casting out of demonic powers and forces of darkness that seek to destroy our soul, peace and life while tormenting us due to our ignorance of our freedom in Jesus Christ.
