DANIEL LUCAS, late 30's, ex-war vet and present weapons designer, witness one morning, a bizarre car accident in front of his eyes, when his wife ALICE late 20's struck by a speeding car. Next, when he calls the 911 for help at the nearest phone booth, he's been put on hold while moments later his sees his wife's body thrust into a weird ambulance driven by two men that look like street bums. When Daniel visits later the area's hospital and inquires about the incident he discovers in desperation that no any ambulance with his wife brought in. The police station he applies for help he discovers an unwillingness to cooperate. He notifies his father-in-law LARRY who is a police Sergeant, but he also can't find anything. Later, Larry suspects his own Captain of his precinct is involved in a conspiracy of body disappearances. Next Daniel according to information he has, he tracks down the route of the same ambulance it snatched his wife's body and finds the location where the ambulance dumps similar loads. Larry investigates his Captain and when he has enough information, he visits him at home and in a struggle the Captain dies. Larry and his wife after that are visited at night by three hit men sent by the same group his Captain was involved. Daniel later meets two old war-buddies, STEVE and DOUG with similar incidences of family members' disappearances. He enlists their help in his investigation to discover the responsible people implicated in this evil scheme. Then he discovers an unbelievable foreign threat against the country itself...
