Domestic Violence claims many lives every year, all around the world. This book is intended to shed light on such dark topics. By shedding light on such a dark topic, I believe it will help to remove shame from victims, and place necessary responsibility on the offender - this will bring the darkness into the light, I am certain. Despite all of the hurt, all of the pain, and everything victims are led to believe - there are victims that are lucky and fortunate enough to survive. Fire catches quickly - once one person speaks up, another person will. Therefore, it will be easier for victims to reach out when they need it the most. In this way, by knowing others have experienced similar situations, they will not feel as alone. Finding peace in the aftermath and continuing to live a prosperous life can be hard - but it is do-able. This book will serve as a great training resource to law enforcement, a helpful guide to victims and survivors, and it will serve as an educational tool to those not yet acquainted with the magnitude of Domestic Violence.
