But Gerald fought a demon he inherited from their father. Too soon, he left his young family and his sister mourning his death from an accident. The author, in discovering a late-life talent for creativity that involves music, painting and writing, decided Gerald's daughter needed to learn more about her father. She was so young when he died. My Brother Gerald aims to preserve the essence of a family member and brings comfort and peace to those who did not get a chance to say goodbye.
