When the ability and will to speak left, Author, Takoda Patterson found themselves in a depression that left them with the desire to only sleep and write. What came out of this was a body of work that challenges what it means to be a person. "Nothing Really Happens" is not only a front row seat into the mind of the author; "Nothing Really Happens" is a story about process, the journey to self and the relationship between the two.
