This book celebrates Cork's victory in the 1945 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, which was just the county's third ever win in this competition and was also the first time that the famous Sam Maguire Cup was brought back to the Rebel County. This short book provides reports on every match played in the 1945 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, with detailed reports provided on each of Cork's matches that season. I have also included biographies on all the players who contributed to that years momentous triumph as well as records of the meetings of the various provincial Councils and the Cork County Board.
