Being molested at such a young age, I had no idea that it would lead to me holding in emotions and feelings that would later manifest in my relationships later in life. I took on a controlling spirit in order to feel safe and secure. I always had a plan for my life. I knew if I had a plan I could be in control, and if I was in control then nothing bad could happen to me because I had a plan. In comes Jesus to wreck all of my plans. The fight ensued and I wanted to win that fight against the Lord. It was a futile effort. Learning to trust someone whom I cannot see, is that even possible? It is very possible, but I had to relinquish control, and leave it all in His hands. Blessed Is She That Believed is here to give insight of what it is like to learn to trust and wait in the Lord. Even when it feels like walking in the dark, Jesus is the Light that shines on the path.
