After being sentenced to federal prison for 15 years, Hamili served 12 years and 10 months in prison, 11 months in a halfway house, and 4 years and 2 months on probation for drugs and gun possession. His mistakes were lessons used to write poetry by putting his pain on paper instead of blaming or hating people for his wrong. Your setback is not your misfortune but a reward to be who God wants you to be. Hamili is happily married with 3 kids, a business and is attending Valencia College.
