Life itself is comprised of good and bad things: ups and downs, joys and sorrows, accomplishments and disappointments, gains and losses, life and death. In music too, we find harmony and dissonance, loud and soft, fast and slow, sound and silence. These all work together to compose a beautiful art form. God miraculously used contrasts in Flora Jean's life and my life - musically, emotionally, socially, physically, mentally, and spiritually to write OUR SONG. It has been said that the first and last pages of a written work often prove most important, because usually, it is the part readers recall most. I would like anyone who reads this book to remember three very special times that stand out above all the others to me in demonstrating some of the beautiful ways God orchestrated Frank and Flora Jean's song.
