However, in many instances, these viewpoints have been handed down from generation to generation and continue to permeate theological spheres without the proper doctrinal foundation. Throughout this book, "Can Women Preach and Teach the Word of God?" we will examine several popular concepts that condemn women functioning in certain capacities in ministry and apply a proper biblical exegesis using the Holy Scriptures. The ultimate goal is to ensure that we consistently apply the correct context of all the key passages being examined and accurately represent the principles of texts. As we embark on this journey, the Holy Spirit is our guide so let's lean on His direction and not our own understanding so that in the end, we shall be edified by knowing truth, having life abundantly, and walking in the light of God.
