Danny Earl Simmons lives in Lebanon, Oregon, is happily married, and is the father of five sons. His poems have appeared in a variety of journals such as "The Pedestal Magazine," "The Main Street Rag," "Chiron Review," "IthacaLit," and "San Pedro River Review." He blog-curates several series of poetry: "Poems I Admire," "Galleywinter Poetry Series," and "On Ground Beef and Certainty." One of his favorite things to do is get lost in the spark of a new poem while walking alone in the cool grey along the Willamette River.
