Confessions: From Domestic Violence Victims to Victors in Christ tells the stories of 15 domestic violence survivors. From sexual abuse as a child to physical abuse by a partner or spouse, each story will leave you reaching for a tissue. Every day a life is lost to domestic violence, but these victims managed to survive. What they all have in common is that they each were positively impacted by the work of Karen Lewis, founder of The Angel House. The Angel House is a nonprofit organization that assists domestic violence victims by relocating them to a different state and by offering counseling services. Each survivor shares their experiences with domestic abuse and how, with the help of Karen Lewis, found Jesus Christ.
