Zohra-Jabeen is a story revolving around three people, each of them struggling with their identities. They confide their dilemmas in Zohra and Jabeen. Zohra-Jabeen, unlike being a guiding path towards light, are just a path, allowing the characters to explore the light within them, on their own. The three main characters are Krishna, Rambha and Malini. Krishna, born as the son of Rambha, but growing up differently, wants now to confess his truth to his mother. Rambha, the dark, yet beautiful, wants to find love again after her long-lost dead husband in another man. Malini, the daughter of a Devadasi, wants to confess her love for Krishna, the son of the landlady Rambha, where her mother works. All of them talk to two more characters, Zohra and Jabeen, revealing all their deepest desires and thoughts. All these characters entangle themselves when truths are revealed before they are intended to. They all compromise on a part of their identity and sacrifice for each other. This confusing story, gets a closure that pricks, melts and wins the hearts with an unexpected twist in the end.
