People across the world supposedly became aware of the earth's vulnerability when the Apollo 8 mission looked back at the blue earth from space in 1968. Similarly, the world supposedly became aware of the impact of pesticides and chemicals on the environment after the publication of Silent Spring in 1962. The Sixth Extinction from 2014 informs us that we are in the middle of a mass extinction event. But are we aware?The majority of people were not alive to see the footage in 1968, nor have they read these books. There might have been a rise in the number of environmental activists and institutions since the 1960s, and the governments of the world have certainly woken up, but billions of people continue to live their lives unaware of the many ways in which they are contributing to the planet´s decline. It is up to everyone who is willing to become more aware to radically change their ways in order to save the planetTo help you become more aware, I have asked the men in my life, who come and go, to write in a journal. I asked them to write down what they do to change the world for the better, or what kind of change they would like to see in the world, as well as how we can engage in a better more sustainable way of living. I feel it is generally better when these suggestions come from gorgeous guys. These are their answers and their pictures.
