Charlotte takes a leap of faith and moves to the Italian Riviera to teach English. She makes friends and enjoys exploring the picturesque region. Life changes when she meets Carlo, also known as Zero, an Italian pop star who hasn't had a hit in a long time. Carlo is captivated by Charlotte, but he is busy working on his comeback and has little time to court her. Charlotte can't untangle the mixed signals he sends her, but decides to take a chance on love, and follows him into the music world where she becomes involved in relaunching his career and hopes that along with that, their relationship will also be launched.
