The scarlet kingsnakes have lively embellishments on their skins with splendid and differentiating colors. The designs, including a few spots, dots, and groups, round out the whole body of the snake, so it permits the kingsnake to be undetectable from hunters like birds of prey, falcons, coyotes, foxes, and different snakes. Scarlet kingsnakes have a tricolored plan of dark, red, white, and different shades of yellow groups that seem to imitate the venomous coral snake as Batesian mimicry.
