Lights! Diyas! Rangoli! Sweets! Like every year, Meena was getting ready to celebrate her favorite Indian festival, Diwali with family in Florida. She had been planning for the celebration with her parents for almost a week now. Then, at school her proposal gets accepted by her teacher, Mrs. Blake. She couldn't believe this was happening! Meena was excited but could she do it alone as a fifth grader? Did she have enough time? Will her plan work? Will everyone in the class like it? Her Diwali was about to get a lot more interesting.
