Was there ever a more opportune time for vigilantism to raise its ugly head in America? Heretofore, it had always been thoroughly denounced. Even in the lawlessness of the wild, wild west, brave men behind tin stars stood up against bloodthirsty lynch mobs seeking vengeance in the name of justice. However, 2020 was a year unlike any other. Cowardly mayors and governors stood by while anarchists openly rioted, looted and set everything in their paths ablaze. Some even encouraged mob rule while handcuffing law enforcement. Law-abiding citizens were left defenseless to cower in the face of ruthless criminals who had taken control of the streets in many of our major cities. Those who stood up to the mobs, including the police, were arrested while the thugs were left free to rape, pillage and murder. With the rule of law torched by the very leaders who'd sworn to uphold it, a huge vacuum was created. At this defining moment in our history, an avenging angel emerged to fill the void. Authorities called for his head but forgotten citizens and downtrodden police embraced their anonymous champion and hailed him as a hero. In a strange twist of fate, I was called upon to be the messenger for AA as he came to be known. In a most unlikely turn of events, I was privileged to chronicle the amazing saga of the Avenging Angel as it unfolded. Now, I can share it with you.
