Googiedesign, universal and timeless? "Space is time" analog A. Einstein proved to be a popular topic in the 1950s. As space travel now appeared to be possible, time travel was also a point of public interest. The basic thoughts were devoted to the dissolution of space and time as the structural basis of space travel, corresponding to the possibility of reaching distant galaxies, since time also passes increasingly more slowly with increasing speed and this finally stops at the speed of light. This inspired the inventive spirit as well as the increasing desire for more advanced technologies. The subject of space travel had already been confidently demonstrated in cartoon stories, radio plays, television broadcasts and toy models. In the following time this was put into practice according to the possibilities and leads to the question up to which point those wishes were fulfilled?
