The title, "Standing on a Mountaintop," was given to me by Delbert Franklin who was working with me at the time. He placed the title on my desk and asked, "I heard you can write. Can you write something for this?" I had the poem written in twenty minutes because I felt the title resonated so deeply within my own, personal experiences, indeed my soul. I have never lost his passion for creative expression." My wish is for you is to connect to the messages in my poetry with the sincere hope that you, too, will experience Standing On A Mountain Top.
