D'Shae's Magical Green Bicycle is an intriguing story about young D'Shae whose dream was to see himself someday on that Magical Green Bicycle he once set his eyes on when he visited the store. It was his birthday and D'Shae expected some fantabulous presents from Mom and Dad. Mom offered him some pancakes for breakfast with some 'extra birthday syrup' on his request. But beyond pancakes, D'Shae had been hoping and dreaming of his very own bicycle. Not just any bicycle, but a bright green one he had seen at the store. After breakfast, Dad said he could open his birthday present but he'd have to find it first! D'Shae jumped up and raced around the house faster than ever. He searched the bedrooms, living room, and even the bathroom, but found nothing. Then Mom suggested he could take a peek outside. D'Shae took off like a rocket outside, through the front door...and there, in the driveway it was. The most beautiful bicycle he had ever seen, with a big red bow on it. "You did it! You got me the most perfect birthday present ever! It's what I've always wanted," shouted D'Shae. He ripped off the bow, inspected the bicycle, sat on it, and admitted it was terrific. Then he pedaled down the driveway and turned around. As he dashed into the backyard, he had an unusually exciting experience with his Magical Green Bicycle. "This really is the best birthday present ever," beamed D'Shae as he looked down at his bicycle. "I guess my only question is...where will it take me next?"
