In this book I offer an intimate testimony about the time I suffered from a severe depressive disorder, I share thoughts, emotions and behaviors that appeared during my depression, as well as the long road that I traveled for my recovery and the approaches that psychology, psychiatry give and neurology to the treatment of this disorder. My goal is to highlight the dark internal world that traps people who suffer from this problem, to generate knowledge and empathy between people, demystify the condition and dignify those who suffer from it. Depression should not be an epidemic, a lifestyle or a way of being, it is a treatable and curable mental disorder, no one should resign themselves to living with it.
