The plays include issues like pre-marital pregnancy and connotations in the wake of misfortunes, girls' initiation ceremonies and respect for chiefs including the provision of 'blankets' as well as the appropriate manner of dealing with such vices, the effects of marrying and leaving young women in the villages while husbands go to South Africa to work for many years. There are also issues of virginity tests and historical sites and monuments including unsung heroines.
