Author Demetria Williams wrote these letters of affirmations to help her daughter through this journey we call life. Each letter is a tool to help build her into the person she was meant to be. Many times, I have said to my daughter, "I wish I knew then what I know now." It would have saved me from the endless search for love and acceptance. But I am so grateful that search stopped when God taught me how to love myself. Letters of Affirmations will instill in our daughters the importance of self-love. I hope they find the encouragement and wisdom to love themselves the way God attended. My heart's desire is that my daughter walks into her God-given identity because I know all of her being is in the Lord. She is a gift from God, and my job as a mother is to take care of the gift that the Lord has entrusted me.
