These are poems for the heart to know Jesus by Jill Owens, of Hudson, New York. I was born in 1943, adopted and grew up in Greenwich Village, New York City. My adoptive father was Jewish and couldn't have cared less and my adoptive mother was a non-believer. But my adopted brother and sister and I went to a Christian school. Go figure! We moved to Connecticut when my father died which led to a life of self-indulgence. I got married and had four daughters. In 1979 I met a Man who would change my life and His name is Jesus, The Christ. I surrendered my life to Him. I've fallen, failed and done things I shouldn't have done and didn't do things I should have but He never left me. And slowly, steadily my life evolved to live for Christ and not me. During my evolution He gifted me with poetry to honor Him.
