Poncho the squirrel is based on a real squirrel that lived in our back yard in Eden Prairie MN, After a while I was telling my youngest daughter stories about Poncho at bedtime, and that is how this book was born!Our daughters were always watching him do things around the yard every day, and he became a part of our lives. All of Poncho's friends, Toby the red squirrel, Peaches the albino girl squirrel, Spot the dog, Gulliver the turtle, Harry the bald eagle and many more will be seen in our series of books.
