My Book of Folktales present stories which actually occurred in a previous age, as well as fiction. It showcases the cosmological and supernatural traditions of a people, their gods, heroes, cultural traits and religious beliefs. Some stories herein may tell of the creation of man, of animals, of landmarks; they tell why a certain animal has its characteristics and how certain natural phenomena came to be. All stories contained in this book originates from Africa, never been previously published and have been passed on by word of mouth.
