Republicans scratched their heads after the 2020 election, trying to figure out why Trump lost. They assumed that after the George Floyd/Black Lives Matter protests over the summer, it would solidify his reelection due to the false representation of the courageous protesters. Trump ran on being the "Law and Order" president after false claims that the protests turned into wide-spread, violent riots. What Trump and Republicans didn't realize is that the cry for justice had never been greater in this country and a fascist like Trump would never heal the country or solve race relations. My research into the 2020 election resulted in the most logical explanation to the question Republicans asked themselves after Biden's victory.
