Madison's Momma lost her glasses! Without her glasses she cannot find them! Madison goes on a detective scavenger hunt to help her Momma find her missing glasses. A main goal of encouraging children to be helpful is that they will grow up with a desire to help out. Children are naturally sympathetic and have a desire to be helpful. Being helpful means doing all it takes to care for yourself, your family, friends and community. It's very rewarding for a parent to see their child see a need and offer to help without being asked. A great way to introduce this book to your classroom or to your child is by posing the question: "Do you think it is a good for people in families to help each other? Why or Why not?" to get a discussion started.
