Starring a diverse cast, including a transgender protagonist, a non-villainous, non-magical character with albinism, and almost every character being explicitly of color, Serpent's Tongue continues to develop The Aeon Immortal universe and takes place about twenty years before the events of The Abadon Relic. It is the third book published in the Lost Colonies series, and it is symbolized by The Star (XVII).
