Today in the United States and much of Western Civilization, people who label themselves faithful Christians approve and promote values that conflict with Biblical commandments because they insist that they are reflecting humanistic compassion and caring. Furthermore, they state that "surely God approves of their views and actions because they have good intentions and a sincere heart". Incremental implementation of liberal humanism in place of God's standards has led to moral relativism which is ultimately moral anarchy.
