How does God speak to us? Through a small child or on a nature walk? It is in the everyday living that God speaks to us...in the waking up and the resting. It is in the living in the daytime when we least expect a revelation from God. God will speak to us in ways we would never think unless we are open to the ordinary and the divine at the same place and in the same moment. God spoke to me when I prepared my little grandson for bed and he realized he did not have his stuffed dog to sleep with. His little life had been traumatic and he couldn't seep without his stuffed dog. We forgot to bring his stuffed dog and it was bedtime. I tried my stuffed rabbit to comfort him and he really did try to accept the rabbit...but my grandson quietly let me know that rabbit just wasn't dog and I got a message that not all gods are the same and that there is none like God of the Universe. It was quite clear. I almost missed it. A message from God as a little child spoke. This book is filled with the everyday and the ordinary and the messages that God put in front of me as I went about my daily life. Are you missing something from God because you think you have to be in church or holy or a certain way? It is my hope that you will be touched by this ordinary life story and all the ways God spoke to me and perhaps you too will receive God's little and big messages for you in your everyday life!
