Sometimes we hide in our grief, end up lost, and unable to recognize ourselves. Then we grow, learn, heal, "art really hard" and begin to take pieces of ourselves back with the help of our friends and family. "I muse on everyone and everything in this scary, beautiful, exciting and horrible world. This is what I saw, this is what I felt." Capturing more of the human condition via poetry and short stories, Alyshia Bradley, aka The Mocha Goddess follows up her first book, Thank You Resiliency But I Am Tired, with I See You Mocha Mocha. "This is something my mother would say to me as a child, she'd say 'I see you Mocha Mocha', as I peek at her from around the corner, behind the couch, and I would laugh and join her in a big mom hug. I am fond of those memories, and my mother, so I wrote this book in dedication to her. No matter what grief, life lesson, triumph I am 'peeking out from behind', she still saw me and continues to see me. That inspired the poem, the book, and serves as a reminder of unconditional love."
