For over 100 years, the town of Bullis, North Dakota, has seen its fair share of tragedy. Mysterious incidents have taken place, nearly turning Bullis into a ghost town. History professor Dr. Ronald Harrington becomes interested in this town and begins a summer research project about its history and legends. This research project becomes much more than he bargained for, once his own personal life intersects with the horrors terrorizing the town. Will Dr. Harrington and his family escape the black-eyed children terrorizing the citizens of Bullis? Or will he open the door and let the kids into the Engett mansion, a home already haunted by its former residents?
