Helen Morrigan is the adoptive mother to eight teenage gods, genetically-engineered by the United States military to use as weapons for control over the world. The military wants to keep their existence a secret, for now. In fear of the new gods growing strength the military creates another god to keep them in check. But he doesn't turn out the way they want. When a suspected double agent infiltrates the team, in hopes to control the new weapons, it ignites a centuries long war over control of humanity's fate.
