Nathan Prichard, a quiet Quaker farm boy from Delaware County, Pennsylvania wants more out of life than continuing in his family tradition of farming. After reading several Western thrillers that some called Dime Novels Nate has decided he wants to seek adventures and a living in the rugged Arizona Territory of the 1880s. The Sante Fe Railroad had just extended the rail line to the Northern Arizona town of Flagstaff. Nate then picked Flagstaff as his destination. What follows are the adventures of the shy, inexperienced Nathan Prichard as he accidentally becomes a bounty hunter, lawman, and prospector, but he does not become a gunslinger or shootist. Will he eventually meet the love of his life and make his fortune in the waning days of the rugged frontier.
