The story belongs to the genre of novel-essays, that is, to that type of narration that 'hides' some non-fictional content (philosophy, science, religion). Then there are thoughts, stories, desire for freedom, friendships, in short, life. It is necessary to overcome the initial sense of guilt, which can take over by reasoning about the need to procreate, particularly about fatherhood and children, in a way that is free from taboos and clichés. My character lives his story in a tragicomic way; it's good to see his irony. The message is clear: If you have to have children, only do them if you really have the mind, only if you are aware of the beauty and the fatigue and outstanding commitment that this choice entails. Do not do them by chance. Life is beautiful even without children. If your 'heir' doesn't come to the world, nothing will happen; everything will turn out the same. The 'unborn' certainly will not suffer for not being with us on Earth; maybe they're fine where they are. In his own way, the protagonist also addresses the theme of reincarnation. It arises from having assimilated the teachings of his travels to the East, especially to his beloved India, mother of the concept of Karma and life after death.
