Author begins by sharing the Nativity story from the Gospel of Luke 2:1-20. After the Angel of the Lord met with the shepherds they rushed to Bethlehem to to see what had been prophesied. In doing so they left a young shepherd boy, Joshua, behind to tend the sheep. Not long after most of the shepherds left for Bethlehem, Joshua was greeted by a boy in white robes, a boy from the angelic choir, Jude who explains they came to announce the arrival of God's son. In addition, he came to comfort Joshua.
